Happy Holidays! & may your New Year be filled with love and laughter!
Xoxo, Work It Girl in 210

Tomorrow is Friday! Here is another prime example of a day-to-night dress. We threw on this light weight asymmetrical black blazer for a more covered and conservative look.
After 5pm, just remove the blazer and here you have a dress to treat yourself to some happy hour for working hard all week. This dress is so form fitting in itself but the black color block on the side makes it even more flattering and gives you a figure. Plus, I love taupe and black together.
This is the definition of, "Work it Girl."
I absolutely LOVE the zipper detail in the back. It adds a little more edge and whaddya say? Curiosity? ;)

Big thanks to Sunny for modeling! Xoxo, Binx

When I used to work at the car dealership, every Friday we wore red in respect for our military. I want to try to continue the tradition of showing support of our troops...
So here's my sweet little model looking radiant in this sway "Red Tuxedo" dress. (I'm not just saying this because she's my friend --it fits her like a glove! & she looks absolutely stunning in it.)
The tuxedo ruffles add texture and detail to this already classically cut dress..
Wearing red shows your energy, your strength and your power and determination!
Great character traits for today's hard working women.
We kept the jewelry simple (with Onyx and Smoky Quartz), but just right so it stands out.
(Necklace & earrings both by Bejewel Carroll Dorsey Walker)
The color red also means war, passion and love.
This post is very dear to my heart because my friend wearing the dress had been waiting for her boyfriend to come home from an eight month deployment in Afghanistan!
WELCOME HOME BRYANT! It was a pleasure meeting you. Thank you for serving our country and giving us a safe place to sleep at night. You and Melissa are so perfect for each other and I couldn't be happier for you both! Thank you both again for being so strong. Xoxo, Binx
I encourage you to share this post with your friends & family so that we can continue to carry on this tradition of wearing red each and every Friday in support of our troops!

I have worked retail since I was sixteen years old. I thought it was time for a change in atmosphere in my life so I started working at a luxury car dealership here in San Antonio, TEXAS. It was then when I decided I wanted to start blogging about what woman should wear to work, that they could feel their most comfortable and still feel bold and sexy while working.
When I told my co-worker about my blogging idea she had written down on a post-it note in my idea book about who I should include in my entries.
I couldn't think of a better time to talk about one of the greatest creations meant for women:
Chickies Cleavage Coverage
Chickies was invented by, my boss, and owner of Adelante Boutique. Her clients would ask her, "what could I wear under this?" She wanted to create a garment that looked just like a tank, but that was more
comfortable. She designed this “fake tank” that just snaps around any bra strap. It's perfect for any of those low-cut shirts, wrap dresses, I mean anything... you name it! It's genius!
Chickies is actually in the second round of @intuit Small Business Big Game! How it works is that a small business could win a FREE TV commercial on the Big Game 2/2/14
So please take the time to click the link bellow... learn more about Chickies Cleavage Coverage/ Adelante Boutique and why you should vote for this small business! & be sure to watch the video!!
This is an INCREDIBLE opportunity for this small biz that I truly believe can make an impact on women's lives!

What they wore to work:
Thank you to the beautiful people above for sending me their work attire! If you would like to send me your outfit for work or have any style questions please feel free to e-mail me at [email protected]

When I am not working under the hood of my car, you'll most likely catch me standing in 6 inch heels.
It was refreshing to get all dressed up for work after being covered in oil & grease. Here's what I wore:
Karen Kane makes such deliberate sexy styles like this ivory top with a higher neck line and a drape to add a little more drama.
With the weather trying to cool off down here in TEXAS, I couldn't wait to put on this lightweight cropped boucle jacket. The multi-colors and leather trim gives a dynamic feel!
Car jacks and wrenches aren't the only accessories I carry around... Look at these feisty heels by Ivanka Trump. Obviously, I couldn't say no to them.
The tweed jacket always gives a preppy look so I thought the studded peep toe heels would give it a little more edge to my outfit. I still feel noble & powerful with the two together.
"Accessories are like vitamins to fashion -- as such, you should use them liberally."
Absolutely LOVE these "Pearl Swag" earrings (the name says it all!) from BEJEWEL by Carroll Dorsey Walker
Chose a teal bag by Izzy & Ally to add more excitement while running around for work!
I hope you all are as much excited as I am that we are finally getting into fall!
Xoxo
Best, Bryn

This blog entry is a more about the artistic and decorative work environment. I had the privilege of taking photos of Christina's, a new & already amazing new friend of mine, outfit she wore to work.
Christina works at Leighelena at the Pearl in San Antonio, TEXAS.
(An Austin-based, hand crafted jewelry and accessories store. Find more about LeighElena here.)

Christina is a real jewelry fanatic so it's not any wonder that she works here. Because she works in a more artistic environment, a button-down shirt is just plain boring. I admire the way Christina dresses for her job and they way she styles her accessories. Just because she works in a more creative environment does not mean she shows up in a pink tu-tu. (Actually, during SHARK WEEK she wore shirts with printed sharks on them paired with a blazer and was head-to-toe with gold bangle and shark tooth inspired necklaces!)
Here's what Christina wore to work:
I could not help myself! I fell in lust with her outfit. Purple is hard to wear for some females, but I personally think this is Christina's color. She is just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside! This is such a time-less piece. Why? Because the cut is classic and the bold color is eye-catching.
Personally, I think padded-shoulders mean "confidence" and "courage"
Which is exactly how Christina's personality is. It's so 'Christina.' The dress may have strong shoulders but it has an ultra feminine silhouette.
This is when her style really comes out to play... the jewelry. The necklace she is wearing gives a more 'edgy' look to her purple dress.
Her choice of wearing one single bracelet keeps it simple. But notice how the bracelet gives the look a little more texture? Must be because it is stingray skin!
I like that Christina chose to wear boots with her dress -- It gives a more down-to-earth feel.
(Dress; vintage, Necklace; BCBG, Boots; vintage from LeighElena, Cuff Bracelet; LeighElena stingray skin)

Need I say more? It's pretty self-explanatory. GLAMOUR Magazine (with the beautiful and bride-to-be Jennifer Aniston on the cover of their September 2013 issue) says it best.
(This would only be "OK" if you work at a night club...)
